What's the point of developing Beauty if the Planet is in decline?
Because our history arises from a rare and ancestral water, we know the meaning of the word "resource". Nature offers us the most precious of its resources: it is up to us to respect and protect it. Developing Beauty without declining the Planet. It's also that, the progress.

COMMITMENT N°1: Reduce our consumption of raw materials.

Because the Planet resources are exhaustible, we do not get therefrom but the minimum.

What we did:
By eliminating paper notices, by reducing our packaging format and bottles weight, we avoid the production of 7 tons of paper and 58 tons of plastic per year. Since 2002, we have reduced our water consumption by 28% and CO2 emissions by 32%.

Our objective for 2015:
Reduce our consumption of raw materials by 20% at least.

COMMITMENT N°2 : Respect a sensitive Planet.

Being concerned with sensitive skin, we have always fixed a golden rule: a skincare product effectiveness should never be at the expense of skin respect. This principle is applied to environment: we believe that the development of our products should never be at the expense of the Planet.

What we did:
All materials used in the composition of our products are not harmful to biodiversity. We have never tested our products on any animal. 100% of cardboard that we use arises from "renewable" forests located near our production sites. Because we revaluate all of them, we reached the record rate of 0% waste discharge finished.

Our objective 2015:
Use at least 50% in renewable energy.

ECO-SCOOP:
In 2012, our factory will reach original target fixed in 2015 to reduce by 50% its carbon footprint!

COMMITMENT N°3 : Recycle what we borrow from the Planet.

Why would we produce while we can reproduce?
We are convinced that, if correctly handled, the raw materials borrowed from the Planet can be reused indefinitely.

What we did:
80% of our transport packaging are from recycled materials. Our products and their ingredients do not contain heavy metals or PVC, non-recyclable materials.

Our objective 2015:
Employ 80% at least of recycled glass.
